Relapse Prevention: Putting it all together

Relapse prevention is truly a series of daily lifestyle choices that support your health and well-being. Relapse prevention is also what is called a “living document,” which stays open to adjustments, customization, and adding information to reflect your growth.

If you have completed this series on relapse prevention, congratulations! You are doing important, life-changing work this very moment, and I am incredibly proud of you. Now is the time to put it all together and create a relapse prevention plan. This will include how you will intentionally create a schedule and routine that supports a lifestyle of health, wellness, and recovery. Include ways that provide support for your:

  • Clarity, One-Mindedness and Commitment
  • Mental/Physical Health
  • Managing Triggers
  • Setting and Maintaining Healthy Boundaries
  • Healthy Communication
  • Strong Support System
  • Delaying Instant Gratification

Please also connect with others on the community board for support, feedback, and ideas!
